Andy Farrell
Andy founded Orecast in 2025 after 15 years in the resources sector — across mining operations, contracting services and corporate strategy. He has supported mineral sands, iron ore and critical minerals projects across Australia and New Zealand.
His engagements span the full project lifecycle: investment-grade life-of-mine modelling, feasibility and funding studies, operational forecasting, and enterprise-level cost reduction programs. Past work includes the Taiko Critical Minerals Barrytown funding model, the GMA Garnet Port Gregory operations program, and the BGC Contracting Wodgina iron ore margin engineering and corporate strategy programs. Orecast is the consolidation of that experience into a single focused practice — specialist financial modelling that connects technical reality to commercial outcomes.
